While there is an influx of hey-that-Wii-game-still-exists news today it’s an opportune time to bring up Oboro Muramasa Youtouden. The gorgeous looking 2D game made an appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2007 – in video form. Marvelous and Vanillaware, the creators of Odin Sphere, haven’t said much about it since . Yasuhiro Wada, President of Marvelous Interactive, told us it wasn’t canned and they were considering to have a playable build at Tokyo Game Show 2008.

Glancing over Marvelous’ Tokyo Game Show list Oboro Muramasa Youtouden is there and attendees will be able to get their hands on it. Awesome. I can’t wait to try it out, but Little King’s Story is in video form only. Wait… isn’t that supposed to come out early next year in North America and Europe? Oboro Muramasa Youtouden doesn’t even have a finalized title and it’s playable instead. Very strange.
