Shueisha has revealed the top ten most popular One Piece characters worldwide, sharing the official results through the One Piece YouTube account. The results for the top ten most popular characters worldwide include data from the Asian, Oceanic, North American, European, Middle Eastern regions, along with data from Africa, Japan, Latin America and the Caribbean.

  2. Roronoa Zoro (1,445,034 votes)
  3. Nami (1,085,141 votes)
  4. Sanji (970,286 votes)

  7. Boa Hancock (392,951 votes)
  8. Carrot (388,565 votes)

The official poll lists a total of one hundred most popular characters, with Shanks, Tony Tony Chopper, Usopp, and Yamato making it into the top twenty most popular characters worldwide. However, polls between regions were mostly the same with Monkey D. Luffy taking the number top spot in North America, Asia, and Japan as the most popular character in those regions. Nami was most popular character in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Oceanic region. Roronoa Zoro ended up being the most popular character in both the Middle East and Africa.

In December 2020, it was revealed that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 shipped over 4 million copies worldwide, effectively making the One Piece Pirate Warriors game the fastest selling of the series.
