Nintendo released a trailer for Last Window: Midnight Promise which shows new puzzles and the game’s story mode.

Last Window also has an unlockable virtual novel you can read on your Nintendo DS. The story picks up after Hotel Dusk: Room 215 with Kyle Hyde who is now a traveling salesman at Red Crown heading to a run down hotel called Cape West in search of the Red Star.
