Free Lives’s all-out 2D action-shooter Broforce has got an “Alien Infestation” update. Yep, that means you can play as, say, The Terminator and blow up copyright-friendly aliens.

The aliens and the new campaign brings a little more to the game than visual variety, though. They’ll climb up walls and ceilings, attack in packs, and lay traps. You’ll also have to face warped iterations of them in nasty boss fights as well.

If you’re unfamiliar with Broforce, think of it like an even more over-the-top Metal Slug with added ‘80s and ‘90s action hero references. You attempt to save the American Dream by killing terrorists – that’s the gist of the plot.

In each level you can save your Bros locked away in cages and, upon doing so, can then play as them. Included are Brobocop, Ellen Ripbro, B.A. Broracus, Bro In Black, Brommando, Bro Dredd, Brade, and many more.

Last year, a spin-off Expendabros game was released on Steam in coordination with Expendables 3 coming out, and that has been downloaded over a million times. The main game, Broforce, is currently available on Steam Early Access for $14.99.
