If you ever feel challenged by cooking up meals then have a look at Overcooked. It’ll probably make your struggles in the kitchen look pathetic. You can vote for it on Steam Greenlight.

It’s a cooperative cooking game for up to four players that has a number of kitchens for you to beat. Easy enough, you might think, except these kitchens look less like a safe place to cook and more like a world in Super Mario.

You and your friends will be placed inside these gauntlet-like kitchens and will need to deal with the orders as they come in. You’ll have to divide the tasks between yourselves and then attempt to avoid traps and obstacles while trying to fulfil them.

In single player, you’ll have to control two chefs – leaving one to chop up the veg while another tries to get rid of the rat infestation, for example. If you have more people than gamepads then it’s also possible to have half players share a gamepad, having half each.

“Unlock new characters and new competitive levels as you make your way through the game. Go head-to-head in one of the many competitive kitchen scenarios. 1v1 and 2v2 multiplayer levels are available allowing you and your friends to compete to see which team is the most co-ordinated.”
