Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth was revealed this weekend and Atlus has followed up with new screenshots with details on the story set inside the world of movies with characters from Persona 3, 4, 5.

The Persona-users will find themselves trapped in the world of movies and there’s one girl who holds the key to everything. The story starts out when the Morgana Car suddenly goes wild in Mementos. The group then get sucked into an unknown area, a mysterious town full of enemies they’ve yet to see.

The Phantom Thieves somehow escaped from danger only to find themselves inside a movie theater with no exit. That’s where they meet Nagi, a girl with black hair and white clothing, and despondent girl named Hikari who appeared from the theater.

In a movie world that is like a labyrinth, the group meets Persona-users just like themselves. Will the Phantom Thieves find a way out of the movie theater?

The game features 28 characters from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5.

Players will also get to enjoy the “Dream Contest” featuring Persona 3 Portable’s female protagonist.

Each movie has a mysterious labyrinth within, each with its own theme that you’ll need to work together with everyone in order to challenge.

You’ll take on dungeons while drawing the maps as you go. There’s also an auto-map function. Battles will have you hit enemy weaknesses for your advantage.

There are also powerful enemies called F.O.E to find in the dungeons.

First-print copies of the game come with a bonus DLC battle BGM set featuring music from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5:

  • Persona 3 – “Mass Destruction”
  • Persona 3 Portable – “Wiping All Out”
  • Persona Q – “Light the Fire Up in the Night ‘Kagejikan’”
  • Persona 4 – “Reach Out to the Truth”
  • Persona 4 Golden – “Time to Make History”
  • Persona Q – “LIght the Fire Up in the Night ‘Mayonaka’”
  • Persona 5 – “Last Surprise”
  • Persona 5 – “Life Will Change”
  • Persona 5 – “Will Power”

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth releases in Japan on November 29, 2018 for Nintendo 3DS.
