Phantasy Star II Vinyl Soundtrack Pre-Orders Are Open

The Phantasy Star II soundtrack will be available in vinyl format. Ship to Shore PhonoCo. has opened pre-orders for the new vinyl soundtrack based on the classic Sega Genesis RPG on its website. The product is available for $30.00, and the publisher will ship it in Q4 2022.

The soundtrack will come with an 8-page booklet containing artworks of Phantasy Star II characters. It will include a total of 22 tracks—11 on each of the two sides.

Ship to Shore PhonoCo. is gradually releasing vinyl soundtracks from Sega’s Phantasy Star series. In May 2022, it opened pre-orders for the vinyl soundtrack from the series’ first-ever entry. The first vinyl has since sold out, and those who have pre-ordered it can expect their product to ship in Q3 2022.

Phantasy Star II originally appeared on the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) in 1989 in Japan and in 1990 in the West. The classic RPG is currently available digitally on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam. The Phantasy Star II vinyl soundtrack will release in Q4 2022.
