Resonance of Fate developer tri-Ace is developing Phantasy Star Nova for PlayStation Vita. The game supports ad-hoc multiplayer and you can team up with four friends to fight gigantic boss monsters called Gigantes.

Prefer solo play? Phantasy Star Nova also has a single player story mode that begins when you crash land on a planet. You can’t use photon, the energy source in the Phantasy Star world, so you have to live off the land. Sega says the game will have a survival feel.  The story’s theme is "commitment" and through different events you will build bonds with your companions. Phantasy Star Nova tells the story with real-time cutscenes.

Phantasy Star Nova is slated for release in 2014 for PlayStation Vita.
