Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallow Restock Set for Spring 2023

Jazwares confirmed a restock of the Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallow plush toys, but didn’t note exactly when in Spring 2023 they will return

A Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallow restock is on the way, but people will need to wait until next year. Jazwares announced on Twitter that the plush toys will return. However, they won’t show up again until Spring 2023.

There weren’t too many details about the Pikachu and Gengar restock. For example, Jazwares mentioned stores “near you,” but didn’t mention specific ones. It also mentioned additional sizes, but didn’t specify what those might be. The Squishmallow toys can also show up in smaller varieties, such as ones that are eight inches tall. Larger sizes can also show up, such as 24 inch variants.

However, a few details were confirmed. When the next batch of Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallow return, they will have different tags. The ones from the Pokémon Center have a special tag. The next run also won’t have an embroidered Poke Ball on their backs.

The Pikachu and Gengar plush toys debuted in the Pokémon Center on November 22, 2022. Each one costed $29.99. (People who did manage to get them also qualified for a free holiday ornament and free shipping.) Both varieties sold out in about an hour.

The Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallow plush toy restock is set for Spring 2023. It is unknown which other retailers will also sell them next year.
