The latest game from Platinum Games probably isn’t what you’d expect. It’s a 2D demake of Bayonetta called “Angel Land”. You can play it on the 404 page for the studio’s website in your browser or on mobile for free.

You can’t move Bayonetta left or right but you can make her jump, double jump, and shooter bullets from her gun. Angels appear from the right side of the screen, on the ground and in the air, and you shoot them to score points. If any of the angels reach Bayonetta you die instantly.

The demake was revealed by JP Kellams, the creative producer at Platinum, who tweeted the following: “New game, hope you guys enjoy it: https://www.platinumgames.co.jp/taipei
