Holobunnies: Pause Cafe will have players hanging out with some chubby magic space bunnies when they’re taking some time off from finding a new home planet, having fun with a variety of minigames.
Holobunnies: Pause Cafe offers three short games for the overweight rabbits. Players can kill each other in a local co-op battle mode, having the bunnies blast each other with magical bursts in small arenas. They can use these powers on bosses instead, tackling an array of larger, tougher, but still cute bosses. Finally, players can help the Holobunnies’ friend Kitcat find them in a racing minigame.
Holobunnies: Pause Cafe is the developers’ own way of taking a break from the development of Holobunnies, their full length action/exploration game about helping the spell-flinging bunnies through deadly planets as they seek a way home.
Holobunnies: Pause Cafe will be available on Itch.io on March 22. The full version of Holobunnies is still in development.
