Playing air drums in Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race

Nintendo opened up the official site for Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (aka DK Bongo Blast outside of Japan). Similar to Super Paper Mario, Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race was originally developed as a Gamecube game where players would bang on the DK Bongos to make Donkey Kong fly his jet. Instead of bundling bongos with the Wii release Nintendo came up with a control scheme similar to air drumming. If you want Donkey Kong or any of his friends to turn left you shake the nunchuck up and down. Want to make DK steer to the right? Then shake the remote. To get Donkey Kong to race at top speed you alternate shaking the nunchuck and remote and if you want him to jump you lift up while holding the remote/nunchuck combination. See the videos and sound off if you would rather play DK Bongo Blast with the Gamecube bongos or if the emulated Wii controls look OK for you.
