Game Arts’ second PlayStation Vita game was a platformer named Dokuro. As previously reported, in Dokuro, you play as a love-struck prison guard who helps a captured princess escape the confines of the prison. It was released in Japan back in July, and now it’s headed to North America.

Gung Ho announced today via the PlayStation blog that they will be releasing Dokuro in the U.S., along with a more detailed explanation of how the game plays. You can read up on further details here.

Dokuro will be released in North America sometime this October as a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network. You can find a trailer for the game here.
