In Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side you control Ende who climbs through towers seeking to cure his friend Ceres from a curse. He receives the Oreichalkos Chain early in the game, which acts as a weapon and a tool to pull switches from a distance.
Controls for the chain are a bit different from what you might expect. You start by pointing where you want to fire the chain with the Wii remote. A blue cursor lets you know where you’re aiming and it turns red when there’s something to strike. Ende has a couple of different moves like tossing enemies after grabbing them and a swing attack. Tearing may be his most deadly attack with the Oreichalkos Chain. After you latch on, you can shake the controller to deal extra damage until the chain gauge (the yellow meter) is full.
Weaker enemies don’t need as much punishment. Firing the chain like it was a gun works too.
Ende also carries three kinds of secondary weapons with him. While the chain uses motion control, his sub weapons use button combos. Here’s Ende’s great sword in action.
His dual knives are swifter, but do not have as much range as the sword.
Ende’s scythe looks like the powerful, but slow weapon type in Pandora’s Tower.
