Pokédex 3D for the Nintendo 3DS is getting an update soon. Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, just announced the app for release on July 14th. The new software Pokédex 3D Pro will be available for 1,500 yen ($18). This will have all of the Pokémon in the series so far. Nintendo will cease distribution of the free Pokédex 3D when Pokédex 3D Pro comes out, so grab it while you can!

Footage of the app shown during Nintendo Direct had a Pikachu in it, but for now, we don’t have details on which generations it will cover.

An updated Kyurem is in the app, too (thanks, 4Gamer).

Pokédex 3D Pro comes out Nintendo will release Pokémon AR Searcher, a downloadable 3DS game that makes Pokémon pop up right in front of you and you can shoot them with a beam. Pokémon AR Searcher comes out on June 23 for 300 yen ($3.60).
