Pokémon GO Making It Easier To Get Evolution Items

In Pokémon GO, certain creatures now require players to collection Evolution items, as well as candies, to change their form. These five items were rare drops that had a chance of being acquired by players after visiting PokéStops. Now, Niantic has updated the game to 1.29.1 on Apple iOS and 0.59.1 on Android, guaranteeing that active players should be finding one of these items a week.

From now on, Pokémon GO Evolution items will be included in PokéStop of the Day streaks. After visiting one PokéStop a day for seven days in a row, a Dragon Scale, King’s Rock, Metal Coat, Sun Stone, or Upgrade will be given to the player. They can then use the item they’ve acquired and candy to reach special Seadra, Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Onix, Scyther, Gloom, Sunkern, and Porygon evolutions.

In addition, a Pokémon GO Water Festival has been announced. Until 1pm PT on March 29, 2017, Lapras, Squirtle, Totodile, Magikarp, and their evolutions will be more common in the wild. A Magikarp hat will also be available as a new wardrobe item.

Pokémon GO is available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
