Now that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is about to launch at the end of January 2022, Nintendo shared another trailer for the game. This is more of an overview than anything. It primarily focuses on showing in-game footage. Both Pokemon Legends: Arceus Pokemon and Hisui region highlights come up during it.

Things begin with looks at the Hisui region in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. We see a “painted” version of its map. Then, different biomes show up. There’s a grasslands area, with Bidoof and Starly around. After that, it looks at a beach where lots of Buizel and Floatzel are wandering. A peek at a snowy region reveals that Ralts and Gardevoir will roam there. It also shows off a somewhat forested area with Turtwigs and Yanmas. After that, it shows the players interacting with Pokemon. They catch them, fight them, and use them to gather materials for crafting.

This Pokemon Legends: Arceus trailer isn’t as focused as some other ones. For example, one looking at the game’s unique systems appeared in Japan at the beginning of January 2022. It showed off how capturing Pokemon works, what a battle will look like, how people will need to dodge wild Pokemon attacks, how camping works, and what things are like in a town. Even avatar customization came up in that segment.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will come to the Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022. Digital pre-orders also net people Heavy Balls. If you also own other Switch Pokemon games, the save data will unlock in-game encounters and customization items.
