After all of these years the Pokemon phenomenon hasn’t died. Nintendo announced that they have shipped out five million copies of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl in Japan alone. The games come over to North America in April next year where it is sure to sell over a million copies. While the DS games are at the top of last week’s sales charts in Japan, Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii barely made the chart at number ten. Only 67,607 copies of the first online Wii title were sold. Narrowly beating out Pokemon Battle Revolution was Wii Sports with 69,923 copies sold last week.
