Yes, they’re real. And they’re coming to Japan sometime this fall, coinciding with the 10-year anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver. No other details have been announced as of this post but we can expect more information next week in mags CoroCoro and Nintendo Dream.

While nothing has been officially announced in this regard, it’s safe to assume the games will will be compatible with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. In the meantime, you might want to check out this neat piece of speculation regarding the new games.
