Nintendo recently published the latest financial results, where they revealed that Pokémon Sun & Moon sold 14.69 million copies since its release to the end of 2016.

With the figure of 14.69 units sold in a little over a month, Pokémon Sun & Moon is now one of the best-selling Pokémon generations in recent years, just shy of Pokémon Black & White’s 15.62 million, X & Y’s 16.06 million, and a little more behind Diamond & Pearl’s 17.64 million. However, it’ll likely never catch up to the original Green, Red, & Blue versions that sold 31.38 million prior to the recent Virtual Console release (with Yellow version hitting 14.64 million). Gold & Silver also had a high number of 23.10 million in life-to-date sales.
