Preorders Begin For Prime 1 Studio’s $1900 My Hero Academia Statue

Prime 1 Studio’s has begun preorders in Japan for a new My Hero Academia statue, featuring Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki. The statue will cost Â¥208,890 (approx. $1900), and will ship from June to September, 2022. A “Deluxe Bonus” Edition is also available, with swappable head parts for the three characters. Part of the “Ultimate Premium Master Line” series of statues, it will be 1/4 scale, stand at 68.8cm tall and weigh almost 30kg, which is approximately 67 lbs. The statue will feature Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki ready to fight, with each character’s special powers in effect. The base of the statue will have the My Hero Academia logo. Additionally, behind the characters sits a large stone statue of All Might himself, striking a pose.

Alternatively, the “Deluxe Bonus” Edition will cost Â¥230,890 (approx. $2,100) and features an additional head part for each character that can be swapped out to their characters’ expressions. Midoriya also gets an additional “Laughter” expression head piece. The Deluxe Bonus Edition will only be available at the Prime 1 Studio online store. It will ship at the same time as the regular edition statue.

Currently, there is no confirmation on any preorder deadlines for the My Hero Academia statues. The regular edition of the statue will be available in Japan for ¥208,890 (approx. $1900), and it will ship from June to September, 2022.

The teaser trailer for the fifth season of My Hero Academia was also recently released, showcasing some action-packed fighting that focused on the Joint Training Arc.
