So far, we’ve seen the Ace Attorney part of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, which work pretty much like the trials in Capcom’s series. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney has a double protagonist system and when you play as Professor Layton the game has a town to explore.

Famitsu explains the gentlemanly professor and his sidekick Luke will explore Labyrinth City Nazo (nazo is "puzzle" in Japanese) and talk to people in town. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney uses 3D graphics similar to those seen in the 3DS game Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles (pictured).
