Hyung-Tae Kim, known for his illustration on Magna Carta, Blade & Soul, and Destiny Child is directing a new single-player action RPG called Project Eve that was inspired by the likes of NieR: Automata and God of War.

 

The game is being developed as a next-generation title by a newly established South Korean studio called Shift Up. The studio consists of  staff including Blade & Soul staff as well as composer ESTi, who previously worked on Ragnarok Online, TalesWeaver, and The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls.

Project Eve is described as a semi-open world AAA game that has taken inspiration from titles such as NieR: Automata and God of War. It is being made as an action game with single-player as a base Using Unreal Engine 4.

Shift Up established a new studio to make this game, and they’re putting the latest technologies for 3D scan system and facial capture to use. There are currently about 10 staff members but they’re shooting to have around 100 members by the end of this project.

 

The story is about mankind fighting back to recapture planet Earth from invaders who forced them out to orbit. The scenario is said to be mostly completed.

 

Project Eve is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
