Project X Zone’s Explosive Trailer Has Five Characters In A Crazy Crossover Combo

Project X Zone from Monolith Soft puts players in control of character pairs like Zero and X from Capcom’s Mega Man X series, Akira and Pai from Sega’s Virtua Fighter series, and KOS-MOS and T-elos from Namco Bandai’s Xenosaga series. In battle, both characters pummel one poor monster.

Let’s say you have Dante and Demitri standing next to Kite and BlackRose standing next to each other. You can call them in for a support attack and have four characters attack at the same time. Want to make a skirmish even more chaotic? Call in a solo unit like Valkyrie or Ulala and you can have five characters sync up for one attack.

Project X Zone comes out in Japan on October 11.
