PSA: SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions Difficulty Can Be Adjusted

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is the sort of game people might need a moment to get accustomed to, especially if this is their first exposure to the SaGa series and they don’t know how to handle the life point and retinue system. Fortunately, there is a way to help people find their footing. While the game doesn’t offer a difficulty option when you are picking your protagonist and finding your first steps, there is a way to alter the difficulty of fights in the options.

Once you have started a story and are in the in-game menu, head to options. From there, go to the Combat menu. You can alter the SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions Engagement Difficulty from there. It starts out on Standard, with an option to go down to Weak or up to Strong. This does not change the reward possibilities in battles.

Another helpful thing to know is an autosave option is also present in these menus. In General, you can turn the pre-event autosave off or on. This will save before any event, allowing you to roll back before making a decision or taking part in an event. That way, you could reload and possibly have a chance to choose to do something different. (Manual saving, as to be expected from an RPG, is available.)

SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices.
