Punch-Out And Sin And Punishment Revived For Wii, New Tales Too

Briefly mentioned in the Nintendo press conference live blog are confirmations for a new Punch-Out game, Another Code (Trace Memory in North America), and Sin and Punishment 2! I’m psyched for the latter, but Treasure’s home page doesn’t say anything about it. It’s probably to early to find out if they are going to be the developers or not. Nintendo also has plans to re-release Gamecube games for under the Wii de Asobu Selection label (Playable on Wii Selection). It isn’t clear if these are going to be actual Gamecube games, quick ports a la Capcom’s Resident Evil Zero, or if these are minor remakes.

Not first party related, but still an announcement is Koei’s Samurai Warriors 3 is being developed for the Wii. Other third party games mentioned include Monster Hunter 3, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, and an announcement of a “Tales of Series mothership title”.
