What does Nippon Ichi and Italian design company Diesel have in common? Both of them sell stuff in PlayStation Home.

PlayStation Home explorers in Japan can decorate their virtual space with dot art statues (read: sprites made to look 3D) of Nippon Ichi characters and Prinnies. Four objects go on sale tomorrow: dot art statues of Prier and Pram, a blue Prinny, and a green Prinny.

More interesting than the statues are two Prinny t-shirts designed for PlayStation Home avatars. Yes, Nippon Ichi is peddling virtual clothes, but these items are based on tangible t-shirts that NIS America sometimes brings to conventions. If you want one you have to fork over 100 – 200 yen ($1.13 – $2.20) per item.

Yeah, I’m not crazy about the price for the goods, but these items marks Nippon Ichi’s first step into Sony’s virtual world. What’s next? A Netherworld Lounge? Maybe PlayStation Home mini-games?
