Q? Entertainment’s Gunpey coming to the USA

Shortly after Mizuguchi-san’s studio Q? Entertainment announced Gunpei Rebirth, Namco Bandai Games announced that they would be responsible for publishing the game in North America. Gunpey is a puzzle game, originally released for the ill-fated Wonderswan. The game has a simple concept, connect lines of different angles across a five square grid. Since Q? Entertainment is handling the game they added a musical twist. Like Lumines the PSP game has skins with different graphics and music to go with each level. There is also a Gunpey game coming out for the DS where the touch screen is used to connect the lines. The DS title has a different feel to it with cartoon characters instead of skins. Look for both Gunpey games on shelves later on this year.
