Quintessential Quintuplets Aqua Float Girls Itsuki and Yotsuba Figures Appear

Taito announced more entries in its Quintessential Quintuplets Taito Toys figures line. The latest entries are based on two of the Nakano sisters, Itsuki and Yotsuba, as they appear in the Quintessential Quintuplets feature film. Aqua Float Girls figures based on sisters Ichika, Nino, and Miku were announced in late 2022. The Taito Toys Quintessential Quintuplets figures are part of the “Aqua Float Girls” series. This figure line focuses on female characters dressed in swimsuits and using beach or pool floaters. The character figures can be separated from their floaters if one wants to have them sit on a shelf or stand. Itsuki’s Aqua Float Girls figure emphasizes the color red, and the gradient in her hair coloration. Itsuki is the youngest of the five Nakano quintuplets. She’s described as serious and earnest, and always speaks politely, almost to a fault. She’s also got a gluttonous streak, and is easily agitated by tense or scary situations.

Meanwhile, the Yotsuba Aqua Float Girls figure leans in on green coloration to highlight the appeal of the fourth Nakano sister. Yotsuba was friendlier at the start of the story to their would-be tutor, Futaro Uesugi, when Futaro was hired to tutor the quintuplets and correct their disastrous academic scores. This friendliness is owed in part to Yotsuba’s cheery, selfless personality. She can’t say no to someone who needs help, despite her repressed feelings of inferiority towards her sisters. The Taito Toys Quintessential Quintuplets figures are in production, with a release window to be announced.
