Rabbit Story will have players dealing with the complex friendships a rabbit has in his forest home, playing through minigames and trying to explore while nurturing relationships and dealing with guilt.
Rabbit has forgotten Kitty’s birthday, and this upsets Kitty a great deal. When Kitty storms off, Rabbit is left to his guilt, wandering until he meets Doggy. As he becomes friends with Doggy, Kitty returns, and players will have to help Rabbit deal with his guilt while juggling his two friendships with the animals.
Part of dealing with it will involve playing minigames with his friends, which can involve finding carrots or dealing with otherworldly spirits in a lost graveyard. Players will also be able to explore a bright forest world, searching for food as they learn more about their woodland buddies.
This cheerful look at relationships has already passed through Steam Greenlight. A demo of Rabbit Story is available from the game’s site.
