To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the series, Monthly G Fantasy, has decided to provide all volumes of Black Butler to read for free until January 11, 2021. This includes e-book services such as BOOK WALKER, Renta, DMM, Kindle, and even SNS services like LINE. Some of these options are region locked, such as LINE. However, those abroad can use BOOK WALKER to access the manga during this time period. The manga will only be available in the Japanese language, however, so keep that in mind.
Alongside this, Black Butler can also be purchased through e-book services for a discounted price during this time. Consumers can purchase the manga through all of the available services listed on the anniversary website at a discount if they would like to continue reading after the free period.
Black Butler originally began serialization in September 2006. The series has since gone on to receive several animated adaptations. Black Butler follows Ciel Phantomhive, a young earl, who is accompanied and served by his butler Sebastian Michaelis.
