The Resident Evil Village Mercenaries Mode will follow the same protocol as past ones. People will go through different areas, trying to earn scores based on time, enemies attacked, and money bonuses. The preview video during the April 15, 2021 Resident Evil Showcase showed a player being able to choose an ability, like Adrenaline that results in an “HP recovers slightly when attacking with a gun” effect. It also showed off the shop, which included things like guns and healing supplies, and an ability to customize weapons. During the presentation, it was also mentioned that it is “packed with bonus content.”

Resident Evil Village will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia worldwide on May 7, 2021. People who get Resident Evil Village will also have access to Resident Evil Re:Verse and a Mercenaries Mode. A new demo is also on the way for Resident Evil Village.
