Rumor control: No Space Channel 5 on the Wii

With the lack of news rumors have been popping up all around the internet. The latest one is actually a little trickier to figure out. A “scan” of Space Channel 5 for the Wii started circulating around 2chan. The fake page looks fairly authentic with the layout, but the text doesn’t match the pictures. The article is actually talking about the control schemes in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. The dead giveaway besides the lack of text about Ulala is that Aiai (the main monkey in Super Monkey Ball) has his name in big print in front of the article. Also United Game Artists has long disbanded and many of the key players including Space Channel 5’s visionary, Tetsuya Mizuguchi, are over at Q Entertainment.
