Rune Factory 4 is making the digital switch in Japan. Marvelous AQL will re-release the title as a Nintendo eShop download on January 24 for 5,220 yen ($59).

The game takes place in a fantasy world where your character (either a boy or girl) falls from the sky and becomes the prince or prince. You can farm, fight monsters, and construct buildings in Rune Factory 4.

Rune Factory 4 first came out on July 19, 2012 before the 3DS simulation game boom. Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Fantasy Life are sold out in Japan. Since Japan is eating up those kinds of games I wonder if Rune Factory 4 will be able to benefit from an eShop re-release.
