Entergram announced a new visual novel called Kaleidoscope of Phantasm Prison by Higurashi When They Cry writer Ryukishi07. Japanese retailers revealed a November release date for PS4, PS Vita, and Switch.
The release date of November 28, 2019 comes from various retailers including Amazon Japan, Yodobashi, Bic Camera, and more. The listing also showed that the standard edition will go for 4,000 yen plus tax and a limited edition version including a collection of artwork, a voice drama CD, a card, and acrylic art panel will be available for 7,000 yen plus tax.
As for the story of the game, it revolves around the four girls who find themselves locked in a creepy room after having been kidnapped by someone unknown. The girls are chained by the collar in an empty room with no way out, but they also meet in there, inside a cage hanging from the ceiling. This boy doesn’t speak or communicate and doesn’t show any emotion.
Suddenly, a voice calls out from nowhere offering a way to escape but they must choose between two choices: the first option is everyone dies, the second is that only three of the four girls would be saved, should they successfully pass the test. And that’s when the game of horrors begins.
Kaleidoscope of Phantasm Prison releases in Japan on November 28, 2019 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch.
