Samurai Rising Introduces Its Warrior, Black Mage, White Mage, And Dragoon Jobs

Square Enix recently announced Samurai Rising, an upcoming “ultimate action RPG” for smartphone. The official website has shared some details on the four jobs we got to check out from the trailer.

 

Warrior

Weapon: One-handed Sword

A close-ranged fighter balanced in attack and defense. They slice their way through battle while enhancing their status.

 

 

Black Mage

Weapon: Staff

Specializing in elemental attacks, Black Mages fight using long-ranged magic attacks.

 

White Mage

Weapon: Staff

Specializing in long-ranged attacks, White Mages can chip in with some damage while supporting the party with heals. They increase the survivability rate of the party.

 

Dragoon

Weapon: Lance

Characterized by their ability to Jump and damage an enemy by striking their center, Dragoons are close-ranged fighters that specialize in swift thrusts to go with capabilities in offense and defense.

In addition to the Samurai, Black Mage, White Mage, and Dragoon, there are seven more job classes that are shaded out on the official website. We’ll learn more about them in the near future.

 

Samurai Rising will release in Japan in spring 2016 for Android and iOS. It’s a free-to-play game with micro-transactions.
