Sanrio announced a collaboration with illustrator Momoco, and the merchandise featuring cute anime girls posing with various Sanrio mascots. Advance sales will end on May 13, 2024, and the goods will appear in the Sanrio Anime Store in Ikebukuro’s Parco from June 21, 2024.
In total, there are eight different types of goods you can get. They are:
- A3 clear poster: 1925 JPY
- Acrylic keyholders (5 variations, blind box): 880 JPY per box; 4400 JPY for all
- Acrylic stand (5 variations): 1815 JPY
- Can badges (10 variations, blind box): 550 JPY per box, 5500 JPY for all
- Clear case (5 variations): 900 JPY
- Die-cut smartphone stickers (5 variations): 495 JPY
- Miniature prints (5 variations, blind box): 550 JPY per box; 2750 JPY for all
- Smartphone stand (5 variations): 1760 JPY
There are five different illustrations, and the goods all use these pictures. They show various girls wearing outfits that draw inspiration from their Sanrio mascot, and they’re all hanging out with the mascot in question. You’ll be able to get pictures of girls based on Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Wish me mell.
Momoco is an illustrator who has worked on various light novels and VTubers. For VTubers, they have designed Petra Gurin of Nijisanji EN, Hakui Koyori of HoloX, and And Yuge of 774inc. For light novels, they worked on Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, which is available in English from Yen Press.
The Momoco and Sanrio merchandise is available online from the Sanrio Anime Store. You’ll be able to buy them from the physical Sanrio Anime Store from June 21, 2024.
