Square-Enix and Nintendo’s second character crossover brings the Mario universe with the Dragon Quest stars into Itadaki Street. Itadaki Street is a board game series developed by the creator of Dragon Quest Yuuji Horii. You move mascots along a game board while purchasing property, buying stock and playing simple mini games to see who can raise the most money. In many ways Itadaki Street is a more complex version of monopoly. To increase sales of the series Square-Enix plugged in mascot characters. Previously it was Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, but for the Nintendo DS Mario replaces Final Fantasy.
