The sequel to Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: The Great Pirate Ship and Tails Troupe, replaces tanks with pirate ships, but uses the same gameplay system. Players help Rocket fire everything on board – bullets, rocks, and even slime sailors to take an opponent’s ship down.
Send a slime into an enemy vessel and they can attack from the inside. Destroying the literal heart of the ship is one way to win. Dwindling a ships HP down to zero is the other.
Rocket will run into ships that represent various monsters from the Dragon Quest universe. Take the Dragon Boat, Chimera Craft, and Archdemon battleship as examples.
Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3 is slated for release this winter in Japan on Nintendo 3DS. While Square Enix localized Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, they have not announced this title for any other region at this time.
