There’s another update on the Netflix live-action adaptation of One Piece, and this time it involves Going Merry. A new poster appeared with a different key visual. This time, the focus is on how the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship will look in the show. Here’s the official announcement. We only get to see Going Merry head-on in this One Piece live-action poster. The figurehead is a sheep, just as it is in the manga and anime. For the poster, the characterās mouth is open. This suggests that its expression could exchange during the show, just as it would in the series in response to certain events.

As we can see at the bottom of the new visual, there’s still a 2023 release window for this adaptation of One Piece. However, we don’t have an exact release date. However, creator Eiichiro Oda said, “[Netflix] promised that we wonāt launch it until Iām satisfied.” So there is a chance that debut could be delayed if Oda doesn’t approve of the direction or current quality. The live-action One Piece show will appear on Netflix in 2023. Viz Media handles the localization of the manga volumes. We can watch the anime adaptation of the series on Crunchyroll.
