Mobage Town competitor, GREE, has a big-name franchise coming to it in Japan. Sega are publishing a social Yakuza game on the GREE service. Not getting too fancy with names, Sega are calling it Yakuza Mobile for GREE.

Yakuza Mobile has a bit of a comical art style. Kamurocho has been overtaken by a powerful foe, and you need to help free it. Since Yakuza Mobile is a social game, you can cooperate with other players to help achieve your goals.

Yakuza Mobile for GREE is due for launch on the GREE service this winter. Players in Japan that pre-register get an unspecified special bonus. Additionally, Yakuza: Of the End and Yakuza Mobile will also share connectivity between them.
