Sengoku Basara Cross clashes on the PlayStation 2

Capcom isn’t about to miss an opportunity to release a home version of Sengoku Basara Cross. Instead of making it a digital download, Sengoku Basara Cross will come out on a PlayStation 2 disc on June 26. Fans of the series can opt to pick up a bundle with limited edition items like illustrated cards and a voice CD for 2,100 yen ($21) over the disc only release. The game alone retails for 6,290 yen ($63).

I suppose a disc release gives Capcom USA a chance to localize Sengoku Basara Cross, but chances are it won’t happen. After Devil Kings, Capcom hasn’t said a word about Sengoku Basara 2 or Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes. I wonder if Aksys will pick this up since they are tight with Arc System Works, i.e the developers.
