Extra Skill:

Other than the regular command skills, there’s a system called “Extra Skills” that activate different effects. They’re flashy moves that bring out the characteristics of Mirages and Mirage Masters. Here’s a look at three different Extra Skills of “Ad-Lib Performance,” “Special Performance,” and “Duo Arts.”

“Ad-Lib Performance” is an action that is brought out from a Mirage Master’s entertainment power. These have wide attack range and extra effects, and are basically powered up versions of a command skill. There’s a chance of activating the skill after using a command skill.

Special Performance:

“Special Performance” are actions that are like “special skills” that are unleashed by unleashing a Mirage and Mirage Master’s power. These come in different effects, for example, one might be able to bypass enemy attributes, or make a recovery from a critical condition. These abilities can turn the tides of battle. These skills can be used with the cost of some of your SP gauge.

Duo Arts:

“Duo Arts” are a combination attack between Mirage Masters. They’re actions that show off their entertainment charm to its fullest capacity. In addition to its various effects, you can follow up with an added Session, making it possible to turn it into a combo. These are activated by selecting an icon during a Session.

Here’s a look at some demonstrations of the Extra Skills:

It starts out with the Ad-Lib Performance, followed by Special Performance at 0:35, and Duo Arts at 1:09.

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem will release in Japan on December 26, 2015 for the Wii U.
