Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem isn’t cancelled. No, it’s alive and well, and it’s being released in Japan this year. The game was also featured in the U.S. Nintendo Direct, although a release date has not yet been announced.

Here’s how Nintendo describes the game: “The role-playing masters at ATLUS are developing a truly modern RPG, where everyday life exists alongside a secret world of fantasy that includes characters from the Fire Emblem series.”

In Japan, the game’s title translates roughly to “Illusory Revelations#FE”. A title for the West has not been announced yet.
