Firstly, it was revealed that the reason why the Poison Maiden who’s snatched the protagonist’s body agrees to work together to purify Hell is in order to gain access to Heaven, where it is said their wishes will be granted. To do so, they need to visit various Hells and collect stickers.

Sticker System

If you are successfully able to purify a Maiden Hell, you’ll receive a special Sticker via Dearest Wish Radio. These stickers are important objects in this world, and collecting five lets you go to heaven.

Thought Entities

As you proceed with retrieving poison, Thought Entities will appear, through which you can hear the voices of the Maidens. They provide hints as to what to do to purify the maidens for real, as sometimes you won’t clear the stage just by clearing all poison.

Characters

Dorami Mitogawa (CV: Shizuka Arai)

An oni woman working the souvenir shop near the radio tower in Hell. However, due to rare living people who visit, she also acts as the guide to Heaven. She’s rather glamorous.

Mysterious Woman (CV: Rikako Sumikawa)

A mysterious woman who wears formal wear as if she’s dressing up to appear male. She knows about the protagonist and Poison Maiden despite only having been here for a short while, and says things with a deeper meaning.

Black Poison Maiden (CV: Yumi Hara)

A mysterious Poison Maiden the protagonist meets in Hell. Despite ‘Poison Maiden’ meaning a Delusional Being sharing a body with a living being, it doesn’t seem like she has a living partner. Although she speaks with a slow-paced Kyoto dialect, her shrewd words give off an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on June 25, 2020. Read about the five Maidens and White Poison Maiden in our previous report here.
