Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is a free expansion for Shovel Knight, which will allow you to play as the Plague Knight boss character in a quest of his own.

Plague Knight is looking to concoct the ultimate poison, but in order to acquire the ingredients for it, he’ll need to extract them from his former allies, the Order of No Quarter knights.

Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows will be available for PC, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Linux, and Mac sometime in the second quarter of this year.

If you don’t already own the game, Shovel Knight and the Plague of Shadows expansion together will cost $14.99.
