You Must be 18 or Older to Enter seeks to capture the fear of sneaking onto the family computer to look at adult images, constantly bombarding the player with hints that they will be caught.

Players will click through an ascii interface, bringing up various images and sites after their digital family has left the house. The player will have to poke and prod around the internet without getting caught by their family, who can return at any moment, and will also have to take care to avoid viruses or pop-ups that guarantee they’ll be found out.

The game constantly hints that the family is about to catch them, using various methods to stir up additional terror with a few words or an in-game prompt. It is up to the player how long they can endure this tension, and how far they can go on this interpretation of 90’s internet.
