This hiatus does mean that some upcoming Eir Aoi concerts and events will not happen. Some examples include the special event for her new album Kaleidoscope, as well as her appearance in the February 12, 2023 Odaiba music festival. Eir Aoi had to cancel a total of five events, and her official website message deeply apologized to fans who were excited to meet and see her.

Eir Aoi is a popular and prolific singer who debuted in 2011 with “Memoria,” which appeared as the first ending of Fate/Zero. Since then, she has contributed songs for Sword Art Online, Kill la Kill, and The Heroic Legend of Arslan. This is also not the first time that poor health forced her to take a break. In 2016, she went on hiatus until 2018, and released “Yakusoku” when she returned.

Eir Aoi will go on hiatus for health reasons and it is unknown when she will return.
