A Single Mistake Can Be Fatal In Ancient Egyptian Action RPG Pharaonic

Pharaonic, now available on Steam, takes players back to ancient Egypt for its tense sidescrolling action, tasking them with choosing how to best outfit themselves for combat against the brutal enemies that stalk the sands.

Pharaonic is designed to challenge its players with combat as they seek Ahmosis I, the Red Pharaoh. Players will have to manage their stamina bar along with their shield as they fight, needing to take care, as the enemies and traps of this world will kill clumsy warriors quickly. Players will be able to outfit themselves for the fight, though, opting for lightweight equipment for more nimble combat, or heavyweight for the player who wishes to be able to take a little punishment.

Beyond light and heavy equipment, players will also have to factor in which weapon to use. Each one swings or attacks in different ways, and will factor into how the player approaches a fight with a given enemy or boss.

Players have some freedom to explore secondary paths when not trapped in a fight, finding hidden weapons and equipment down these hidden roads. They will also meet other characters out in the world who can fill them in on the story behind the world, meeting the oppressed people who suffer under the Pharaoh’s rule, as well as helpful secondary characters who may have gifts for them.
