We mentioned this as a rumor two weeks ago and we got this one right. The newly renovated official page states Afrika is scheduled to come out in Japan on August 28. So, what exactly is Afrika? It's a safari simulator where you play a photographer with a robotic camera. Seriously. The trailer shows the main character briefly holding a camera strapped in a buggy and some gorgeous looking animals.

While Afrika is aesthetically pleasing, you have to question how many people are going to rush out and purchase it for 5,980 yen ($56). If this was a $30 PlayStation Network game Afrika could be a hit. Perhaps Sony Computer Entertainment America will consider going the download route for Afrika when (if?) they localize it for North America.
